Our Science Advocacy Story

What is our mission?

Utah has long been a leader in scientific discovery and innovation. Today, the progress is under threat. Federal attacks on science, research, and academic institutions undermine decades of achievement and investment in our state. As scientists and science allies in Utah, we are united in our commitment to defend the integrity of science, research, and higher education. We believe that sustained investment in science is vital to advancing knowledge, driving economic growth, and improving the health and well-being of all.

Who are we?

We are a coalition of scientists, educators, and advocates committed to safeguarding the future of science in Utah.

Stand Up for Science Utah is dedicated to organizing events, campaigns, and initiatives that raise awareness, educate the public, and inspire action on scientific issues that impact our lives.
